Nu'u Bay village site

Nu’u hike

Trike cancelled due to rain. Drove back to Nahiku, walked over scary bridge, down to point at end of road. Shopped at Hasegawa’s, Lunch from Braddah Hutt (chicken plate lunch). Drove backside to find good weather, stopped at Wailua falls, Huialoha church, St Joseph church, Kaupo store. Hiked to village site at Nu’u bay, spooked by a possibly aggressive cow, saw horse, went across lava field on rough trail to village, looped around and back to car. Had a very close call with a Camaro on the narrow part of the road coming back.
