Kihei/Wailea long run

Up early, ran 8 miles through Wailea and Kihei, started in a drizzle, turned into steady rain (on the dry side), then back down beachfront path as far as Polo beach. Packed up and checked out of Wailea Marriott, stopped at Foodland in Kihei for groceries (lots of Spam). Road to Hana with rain all the way… landslides, rocks in road, trees down. Stopped for Halehaku Heiau but didn’t want to hike down to water level, went to extremely scary and scenic overlook instead. Stopped at Honumanu bay, brief hike (wade) at Keanae Arboretum, took pictures of a couple of waterfalls. Dinner from burrito food truck, checked into Hana Accommodations cottage.
